Who says old dogs can't learn new tricks? Galloping Galloping Video will be using our JVC HD broadcast camera system at the world show this year, and downloading the media cards onto Hi Def Blu Ray DVDs. Viewers will be able to watch their runs at the video booth in full size 1080-I files, which is pretty eye-popping quality. You can still make your video orders in standard def DVD, but will be able to order your works in hi def from now on. |

If you were at the 2011 Snaffle Bit futurity, you may have had the opportunity to attend one of the free seminars held in the trade show area. The session devoted to first time riders and level 1 competitors at the SBF, lead by Lyn Anderson and Sandy Collier, was a project we dreamed up to make new people feel welcomed and get some tips from veterans. When I asked Rick Ricotti to donate a prize of some kind to the effort as a giveaway, he went all out and provided every level one rider with a gift basket from his store AND special products AND a gift certificate! Hats off to the Ricottis who are EXTRA SPECIAL people and great supporters of the cow horse industry. Do you know John? We met John and his wife Lois 25 years ago at our first Snaffle Bit Futurity in Reno. John bought a copy of the Open Finals, and every year since then he as returned for the current year's finals. He has a complete set for every year. Wow! That kind of customer loyalty can't be beat! Thank you guys! You are the best! We also have another customer who also has every futurity finals since the beginning, David and Sherry, Aquino from Santa Maria, CA. We will try and get their picture up as well. Probably one of the best things about videoing so many futurities is all the really nice people you meet and keep in contact with for years and years. |
